Alec Bradley cigars are to the smoking world as Rolex is to the word of timepieces. Both make a wide variety of items, but both have one thing in common: quality. Alec Bradley stogies are about as high class and scrumptious as you can find, all at a price that not only a prince, but a pauper can afford. Famous Smoke Shop and Alec Bradley have built a long standing relationship to help provide you with these cigars at damn good prices. The reason we keep good relations with them is simple. Aside from being awesome people in general, and pretty damn good at flip cup, they have developed a rich history in their short time on the market.
Cohiba made by General is readily available in the US as the Cuban Cohiba is not sold in the US due to the Cuban Trade Embargo imposed by President John F. Kennedy in 1962.The Cohiba available within the U.S. is Dominican at its heart, Cohiba cigars are a natural stepping stone for smokers looking to ramp up the flavor and add a little spice to the mix. The selections here, starting with the Cohiba Red Dot, land square in the neighborhood of medium body and move on up; though any and all of these Cohibas smoke creamy-smooth, rich and well-balanced due to their respective, refined Cuban-seed longfiller blends.

The Cuban Montecristo was originally branded in 1935 by Alonso Menéndez after he purchased the Particulares Factory. The name was inspired by the classic Alexander Dumas novel, The Count of Monte Cristo, a popular book during the early 1900's which was often read to the rollers by the factory lector as the workers made cigars.
The hard work came from founder Cano Aret Ozgener, born in Moda - one of the nicer neighborhoods of Istanbul - in 1937. A Ping-Pong champion during his high school years in Turkey, Cano (pronounced "Jonno") emigrated to America in 1961 and graduated from Columbia University as an engineering major. Cano enjoyed smoking cigars and pipes - specifically meerschaums, artfully carved in Ozgener's native Turkey.
Fuente Cigars have become renowned for the quality and consistency they offer cigar smokers worldwide. Fuente considers themselves to be the pride of the Dominican Cigars, because of their reliance on mainly Dominican tobacco in their blends. Highly rated Arturo Fuente cigars include the Chateau Fuente, Hemingway Cigars, Flor Fina 858, Don Carlos cigars, the King and Queen B, and the most lauded cigar in their history, the all Dominican grown Fuente Fuente Opus X.
Sometimes referred to as "once Little Havana's best kept secret," because Miami is where you'll find the roots of the Dominican-made brand that most cigar lovers buy and enjoy today. Since then, the La Gloria Cubana cigar has become the cigar of choice for cigar smokers who appreciate a richer, fuller bodied smoke. Their Cuban seed core from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua perfectly complement the beautifully aged Ecuadorian Sumatra natural and Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers to deliver the full, rich flavor that has won the brand a devoted legion of followers.
Macanudo cigars are the world's most popular handmade premium cigars, first introduced to the market in 1971, and are still one of the most iconic brands today. Macanudo is currently manufactured in the Dominican Republic at the famed Tabacalera de Garcia factory by General Cigar Company. From humble beginnings in the small Tabacalera in Jamaica where Ramon Cifuentes and Edgar Cullman blended the historic first Macanudo cigar one thing that has never changed is their passion to craft unrivaled premium cigars.
Davidoff Cigars are to the cigar world as Bentley is to the car industry. There's simply no better recognized brand in the entire world. Of course, many believe these to be the cigar of the bourgeoisie; they're nothing short of an amazing cigar meant for anyone to enjoy any moment of the day. They're known for their absolutely flawless quality control, having the best of any cigar manufacturer in existence, and incredible overall consistency.
These cigars represent Drew Estate's foray into super premium, top-shelf cigars; unlike their infused ACID, Java and Tabak lines, the DE Ligas are rolled with rare tobaccos by their most skilled torcedores for a more full-bodied cigar smoking experience.
They're also one of the most popular cigars on social media...a day doesn't go by without someone tweeting a picture of their Liga FFP, commenting on their Undercrown or upvoting comments about LP Dirty Rats. While these are all special shapes and sizes of these hard-to-find or brick & mortar-only cigars (such as the LP Ratzilla and Feral Flying Pig), these Drew Estates are very consistent - and make up the company's flagship cigar line.
Romeo y Julieta cigars are renowned for their rich taste, high quality, and affordable price. This classic, Cuban heritage brand is expertly handcrafted in The Dominican Republic with choice, cedar-aged Dominican long-filler tobaccos flawlessly rolled in silky, fragrant Indonesian TBN (shade-grown) wrappers. The smoke is smooth, creamy, and medium in body with excellent balance and a note of sweet spice on the finish. These attributes, plus an impressive sales record that spans decades, clearly demonstrates that Romeo y Julieta cigars are the perfect choice for any occasion
Oliva cigars offer cigar smokers the ultimate variety of blends, flavors, and selections. Blending some of the most outstanding Nicaraguan premiums to come out of Estelí. Using tobaccos grown in the Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa regions of the country and a broad range of wrapper leaves, Whether you're drawn to value-priced bundle cigars like their bestselling Flor de Oliva, or luxury-class premiums like the Oliva Serie V, if you want to discover the unique taste and complexity of Nicaraguan cigars, Oliva has something for your particular taste and budget.
The Rebirth of Cigars started in 1998. Long Island native Jonathan Drew employed a handful of cigar rollers in Nicaragua, while back in New York, Drew Estate partner and co-founder Marvin Samel led operations from a warehouse office in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. The "ACID" name was inspired by Scott "ACID" Chester, a neighborhood artist whose work mixed industrial, urban, graffiti, and motorcycle art - and provided an ideal marketing vehicle for ACID Cigars. This "sub-culture" aesthetic has become a dominant aspect of Drew Estate's culture and vibe.
Of all the manufacturers out there, Drew Estate Cigars just may have the most loyal and devoted hardcore followers in the world. Perhaps it's the eclectic mix of lines they offer such as ACID cigars, Liga Privada cigars, Liga Undercrown, Tabak cigars or the Drew Estate Natural. Or maybe it's their colorful founder, Jonathan Drew, who has become the face of Drew Estate, engaging with fans on a personal level as he appears at events across the country. Even when it's an outdoor event and the thermometer reads 100 degrees, you'll see Jon greeting fans in his patented wool cap, down vest, and multi colored goggles. The man may be a character, but that character knows how to connect with the public and sell cigars.
When NUb cigars debuted in 2008, Oliva Cigars started a revolution by begging the question: What if you could start smoking your cigar at the point where it has the richest amount of flavor and strength? The answer was a line of very short and portly handmade cigars with approximately the same amount of long-filler tobaccos as traditional-length cigars, that could also be smoked and enjoyed in relatively the same amount of time; in some cases, as long as an hour.
Partagas has been part of the cigar industry longer than most other brands on the market, originating in Cuba in 1845. Since that time, they have amassed what can be seen as an almost cult-like following, with fans of these cigars always staying loyal and smoking only their cigars. It's no wonder why they always reach for Partagas, though with a long standing reputation for consistency, flavor, and quality.
The name in itself causes a rise in the pulse of every premium cigar enthusiast. Hallmark to the brand is their Cuban-seed, Nicaraguan-grown tobaccos aged between 2½ years and 10 years - producing four of the most sought-after smokes on the market. Flavor is the name of the game here, as each and every Padron cigar is made with an eye to complexity and consistency; but in limited annual production, keeping these premiums at the peak of their flavor.
Cigars from Tatuaje have an incredibly loyal following as does its creator, Mr. Pete Johnson. The name Tatuaje means tattoo in Spanish as Pete, himself is covered in decorative ink. The brand was developed and released back in 2003 as a collaboration between Johnson and famed master blender, Don Pepin Garcia. The following year in the October, 2004, issue of Cigar Aficionado, their Tatuaje Cabinet Especiales was given the remarkably high rating of 90 and the brand was officially on the map. All Tatuaje Cigars are Nicaraguan puros, meaning that all the tobaccos used are from that same country, although from various growing regions. They are made at the My Father Cigars Factory, owned by Don Pepin, in Esteli, Nicaragua. They are known for being full-bodied, full-flavored smokes that are generally appreciated by those with a more seasoned cigar smoking palate.
AVO Cigars are a titan in the cigar world. They're known all over the world, and enjoyed by many as both an every day smoke for their reasonable price, and a special occasion smoke because let's face it, they're damn good. But the cigar's inspiration comes from one man that was well known before this incredible brand came into existence. I speak of course of the infamous Avo Uvezian. Perhaps you've heard of him. If not, listen to Frank Sinatra belt out "Strangers in the Night." Then you'll have listened to an AVO original composition.
Perdomo Cigars are characterized by the three attributes Tabacalera Perdomo values most: "quality, tradition, and excellence." With an unparalleled attention to detail, and a commitment to integrity that's been handed down from generation to generation, when you buy Perdomo cigars you get more than the finest hand-rolled cigars in the world; you get the pleasure of smoking an ongoing legacy of distinction.
Really two stories in one: the Cuban cigar craftsmanship of Don Pepin, and how a boutique cigar company is quickly becoming one of the most influential manufacturers in the tobacco world.
It started with José Pepin Garcia: born in Cuba to a family of tobacco growers and cigar makers, he spent 50 years working inside the operations of some of the largest Cuban cigar makers on the island before emigrating to Nicaragua in 2001. The majority of Pepin's time in Cuba was spent as a master cigar roller, earning the ranking of Category 8 ("Maestro," or Master) and many awards for his torcedor work; legend has it Don Pepin once rolled 320 Churchills in four hours, as part of a competition. That skill offered Garcia the opportunity to become a teacher of the rolling of cigars, as well as a blender, working on the formulas for Cuban Cohiba cigars, Partagas and Montecristo
Known to have a tremendous reputation in the industry, as does the man behind smokes, Nestor Plasencia Sr. Nestor is known as one of the most foremost tobacco experts in the world. The cigar making operations exist in both Honduras and Nicaragua and the factories produce more than thirty brand labels, including the likes of Rocky Patel, Alec Bradley, Villiger, Casa Magna, Gurkha, Padilla, 262 and Jesus Fuego. The Organica line of hand rolled premiums are 100% certified organic cigars. Farming methods free of chemicals and pesticides are used to grow the tobaccos in two regions of Nicaragua where the soils are dark and rich with minerals and nutrients. The leaves are carefully cured after harvesting, then aged three years to create this aromatic and well-balanced blend. These mild to medium-bodied cigars have a pure, natural tobacco flavor giving off delicious woody notes.
Camacho Cigars, now under the watch of Davidoff, has been a kingpin in the cigar industry for decades, with fans lining up in greater numbers than Cleveland Indian fans during 10 cent beer night. For Camacho smokers, they are met by an array of flavor and perfectly balanced strength. For Indian's fans, they were met with vandalizing the stadium, arrests, and a damn funny Wikipedia page. However, just like 10 cent beer night, Camacho Cigars come cheaper than some of the other high end premiums on the market, making them a great choice for anyone looking for a stellar smoke without breaking the bank.
This premium cigar company is committed to creating artisanal quality, boutique cigars distinguished by their excellent flavor, balance, and consistency. Crowned Heads Cigars was founded by former CAO International, Inc. executive, Jon Huber, the company's rapid success is built on the belief that quality, pride, and integrity still matter. As Huber says, "We are not here to do it like everyone else. When the rules don't make sense to us, we carve our own path."
